The Place

The Vintner’s Gallery, owned by Margaret Sewell and Rupert Glover, is situated about 45 minutes' drive from Christchurch. The property comprises 1.22 hectares of land with a French provincial villa designed by one of New Zealand’s leading architects. Nestled in the middle of a sunny valley, it is bordered by the Okuti River on one side and a smaller stream on the other.

The house lies in a setting of showcase gardens. It contains two separate self-contained wings, one of which is the Glover Sewell residence; the other is The Vintner’s Gallery, which provides high-class accommodation for up to six guests.
