From Christchurch locate Lincoln Road which runs off the western end of Moorhouse Avenue. Simply follow it for 60 kilometres, as it passes through Halswell and Tai Tapu and becomes the main Akaroa highway. Soon after you pass the Little River Hotel on your left, about 58 k from Christchurch, you will come to a sign which says OKUTI VALLEY, SOUTHERN BAYS and you will see a turn-off to your right, over a small river and opposite a stone church. Take the right turn and follow the road until you come to the Okuti Valley corner, a couple of kilometres down the road. Turn left into the valley and drive up until you come to number 215. You will see a sign on the gate which says GLOVER SEWELL.
